During this project we seek to redress gender imbalances in the construction sector by training and empowering womxn in hands-on construction techniques and collaborative design. To challenge traditional hierarchical models, this initiative promotes horizontal coordination, ensuring every participant contributes equally to a decentralized design process. The culmination grew into a community structure built collaboratively, embodying both the skills learned and the ethos of inclusivity. Fundamentally, it was an investment in industry diversity, community-relevant design, and a tangible commitment to gender equality in the built environment.
